Description:
Status: Part Time
Education: Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
| Requirements: Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists a minimum of 2 years preferred. ARRT certification and with TDSHS (Texas). Current BCLSS Certification. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally & in writing. Additional languages preferred. |
Experience: 1 year experience under a Board Certified Radiologist preferred. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Able to set up, calibrate and get x-ray machine functional while helping meet all state requirements; computer charting and clinical skills desired. |
