Trauma Coordinator
Status: Fulltime
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred. Current License in the State of Texas. TNCC completed. Current ACLS and PALS Certification.
Requirements: Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the planning, supervising and evaluating of the clinical care given to every trauma patient that presents to this facility. Ensures comprehensive and continuous care for trauma patients and critically ill patients and are evaluated in the Emergency Department. Responsible for the management and direct supervision of direct patient care givers in the Emergency Department. Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities. Must be able to travel for meetings and training.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience as an RN. Two (2) years experience in the Emergency Department or Critical Care Unit.
